Hairy Posted May 25, 2012 Share Take the big and granny rings off and here it gets interesting. You need to find der bolts and use these to fit the middle blade back in place. These are required as the usual bolts would work with the big blade and middle blade being bolted to the crank, so they are going to be a little too long. Another way is just to go to your local hardware store and get spacers to build up the space left from the big blade. Hairy Posted May 25, 2012 Share Nope .. only SS or rather track length bolts and then the conventional length that is currently on your bike Try the spacers first if you can't find and shorter bolts at your LBS, or if you are "hands on" then take the existing bolts to a bench grinder and get them to the length you require.
