Tubeless conversion

Anyone know if its possible to convert Scott Stroke2 tyres on Alex TD24 rims to tubeless?

Hey my tjina - jus gooi a lekka tjoebless conversion ek se. Search the hub for how. Did mine about 2 years ago. Still going strong on non-ust tyres and rims.

Because something can be done doesnt mean it should, convert the rims and go get proper UST tyres ... or invest in a dental plan, rubber is cheaper than fake teeth.

 

Time to choose.

The Rims can be converted. Use the Stan's Rubber Rimstrip kit

 

 

Put a thin layer of the yellow tape on the rim. then put this Rimstrip on the Rim.

 

Much easier to seat a tyre.

When the rims are sealed, just use your non ust tyres. Put in about 3 cups of stans and then use a bomb to seat them on the rim. Works better than a garage pump.

Stans is the best. Try not to bomb it though.............. The CO2 cartridges has been known to crystalize some of the sealant, garage, or even footpump.
