TheV Posted June 5, 2012 Share Real "Fisher"'s are history, only Trek's as part of "the GF" collections left.... http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/trek-bicycle-corporation-kills-off-gary-fisher-bicycles-26615/
TheV Posted June 5, 2012 Share The lab has a nice selection Sorry, but we don't know who/what you are talking about .... but I can certainly suggest you avoid any "labs" ... rather pick anyone else off this list: ( I would suggest Solomon's if I was tortured). http://www.trekbikes.com/za/en/dealer/listing/

rouxtjie Posted June 5, 2012 Share To the OP I like to think of the G2 geo as powersteering for a bike. If you think about powersteering on a car, it is really handy when doing tight manoeuvres at low speed..parking etc. Same with G2, you can feel the difference it makes when going around tight corners or doing tech loose climbs, it gives the clown bike a lighter steering feel. Here is the catch though, a car's powersteering goes away the faster you travel, not so with G2, making the bike twitchy at fast speeds which some guys hate and to be honest takes some time getting used to. rouxtjie Posted June 5, 2012 Share #1 Because when I started MTB'ing they sold me a piece of KuK bike that was too small for me, but it was the only one they had on the floor and the salesman saw me coming.... and #2 because they then also overcharged me at the same time. #3 after that I still gave them the benefit of the doubt, went back again, but they proceeded to knowingly sell me a KTM with 2011 XT Groupset when 2012 was just about to be made available to retail. #4 while taking the "new" KTM @R 30k bike out for it's ride my buddies asked me why it's not FULL XT - and pointed out that the bike had some SLX components on it. After I took the bike to them and pointed it out to them they changed the components out but scratched the frame.. they could not explain why the bike didn't have the factory spec components on it.. #5 when I didn't want to accept the scratched frame/bike back I had to wait more than a week for a replacement bike, and when I came to collect the bike they gave me a lecture about how "I" could have scratched the bike by letting the bars swing around and hit the top tube... I had spent more than R60k with them including a kiddies merida, clothing, etc etc.... and since have moved on to buying 99.9% of my components off the interwebs, and if I have to visit is LBS it will be only Solomon's Woodmead, Mikes Bikes or Linden Cycles. *When I stated MTB I thought I was clever because I had a very successful Roadie background, this was my big mistake. I have since written off the R60k I spent with them as school fee's... now I have my very own complete workshop, If anyone is going to screw my i'd rather screw myself.Wow, that is quite an experience V, mine has been totally different to yours and I didn't drop half the ZARS you did, they have yet to drop me and have actaully exceeded my expectations on more than one occasion. I am feeling your pain here.
