Today's finish

The climb is only 5.9km long but at 8.5% it will hurt, especially since it contains many steep ramps along the way. The ever-changing gradient suits punchy riders capable of changing pace. The finish sees the road get progressively steeper, culminating in final 300 metres where the road bends round to the line at 14% and a section at 20% to the line.

Ten of the 22 teams in the Tour are now at least one man short. Garmin-Sharp and Movistar have both lost three riders, while Euskaltel and Rabobank are both two men down.

I think Garmin is now 4 down.

So, you mean not Evans, wiggins and menchov? Would have suited Contador and Andy.

Maybe Rolland, Tejay and Froome can show us what legs they have?

Kloden is now GC leader for RNT after Schleck lost so much time after yesterday's crash.

I'm betting that this breakaway will succeed today.

Some strong riders in there, including Sanchez, Sorenson, Velits and Albasini.

Gautier (EUC), Riblon (ALM), Sanchez (RAB), Sorensen (STB), Fofonov (AST), Martin Velits (OPQ) and Albasini (OGE) are the seven who have broken clear...

You will lose cash with that.

Yeah, I know the odds are stacked against the break taking it.

Just love it when a breakaway succeeds, man.

Riblon and Sorenson, who's in the break is just over 5 minutes behind yellow. So, they'll be watched by the chasers.

Robbie has pulled out of more Tours than he has completed....he has had serious bad luck over the years!

Hope it heals up soon and you are back to your best!

About Frank being delayed in yesterday's crash, and other crashes.

It's been clear even to somebody that knows nothing, that if you want to win you ride near the front to avoid crashes.

Armstrong proved it, Evans is proving it...

WTF are some of these pro's thinking?

Or even "Good bye"?

Edit: not sure how this got on this thread. It was meant to be on the "Good by" Robbie Hunter thread.
