Race commissaire CONFIRMS tacks in the road.

 

Ever happen before?

As stated on the PnP show, it has happened in the past. Supporters of the leader(s) throws tacks on the road to "take out" the atackers

The end of his career at Sky is the best thing for his career, if he was on any other team he would have won the tour.

 

But he was on Barloworld in 2008 and finished 174th?

30!!!! Sheesh!! That had to be some kind of record.

How is Sagan today, a sprinter looking at trying to win the green jersey and finishes 2nd on a mountain stage.

Thor Hushovd won a mounain-ish stage last year, Sagan's effort today reminded me of that.

 

Pity Thor is not racing this year.
