Wez-O Posted June 19, 2012 Share Hey Guys, So I'm looking at finally making the step up to a 29er (hardtail).I'm guess I'm currently what you would call an intermediate rider (more than leisure rides, but don't race competitively) and I'm looking at getting something for around about the R10k price range. Any suggestions on the best bikes in in this range? I currently have a Scott and Marin and love both but the new Merida's look like really good value for money. I like the look of the KTM's but I get the feeling you paying for the name there and the GT's in that price range seem rather heavy. Also, are there any shops that you guys can recommend in Johannesburg East and Sandton areas? Thanks a lot,Cheers
