Saw a guy get knocked off his bike at Salt River circle this morning. Went after the car and managed to get a pic of the number plate. I don't think it was too serious as the cyclist was gone when I got back to the circle but you never know.

If you know of or were the cyclist who got knocked and want the details, pm me.

Yes I saw it happen, couldn't believe it! Just caught the collision as it happened, the cyclist seemed to be coming from town heading toward the lower main road exit and the car, coming from the voortrekker road/Maitland side cut him off in the middle of the circle. The car slowed down, the two collided and then the mofo just kept on going! So I went after the car, the guy wouldn't stop and I had to overtake him and hit the brakes to get him to stop. Told him about the cyclist who was laying back at the circle and he responded with 'oh f*ck, did I knock him? I thought he just kicked my car.' :cursing:

Got him to follow me back to the circle but when we got there the cyclist was gone so I just carried on to work, not sure where the car guy went after that.

The NMT has a ton of money to invest, the planning alone is a mind boggling couple-o-mill. (Unnofficially, 100's-o-mill) Best as many of you who want the future of commuting to be real, attend.. The passed has shown that planning does not always mean, doing, but support builds momentum and the cycling reps need your support.!

Well done for tracking the driver down.

Good on ya for the chase down.

Personally I can't think of a more suicidal place to ride a bike in CT it's like the wild west down there in a car most of the time. Rush hr is actually the best because it's so jammed up you're not traveling fast enough to hit even a snail.

Hope the guy was okay.

Hectic. Good job chasing him down! Some mad almost sub human people out there! Cyclist was probably going to Black River Office Park if he was a commuter. Seen a few of the guys on the road heading towards there over the years.

Came past that way with my mtb. Was at circle at about 07:15.

Had an idiot almost knocking me on Voortrekker just after Sunrise circle turnoof. Driving older Audi A4 Navy Blue. tried to hauld in but think he turned into a side road between houses... thought nogal a cleat against a door or two would be nice. This forum been getting me bit aggro with some recent events.

There was an accident on Voortrekker just before the Saltriver bridge. Nice tailback. Cycled nicely past it

Hope cyclist is ok.
