Iwan Kemp Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 At which market do you think designers should aim the 650B wheel size at?
marsbeetle Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 As long as the rest of the bike is suited to the purpose I don't see any reason why it couldn't fit into any of those markets. The 650B wheel size is probably best suited to the "do anything" market but that doesn't mean it will excel in any of those markets above the other wheel sizes. My 2cents.

banna Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Me thinks the longer the travel, the smaller the wheel should be. Just a gut feel, not based on any facts.
Iwan Kemp Posted July 10, 2012 Author Posted July 10, 2012 Scott drops 26" from their Genius line. Makes a lot of sense to me http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/news/article/scott-genius-2013-range-first-look-34489/

Iwan Kemp Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 Hardtail XC and Trail bikes sharing the lead at the moment.
DR ◣◢ Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Its a wheel. It goes round and round and it's fitted to a bicycle.  You can use it everywhere. Enough now with this wheel size bull***t. Its nothing more than a winky measuring contest anyways.
Iwan Kemp Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 (edited) Edit: Sometimes even I get sucked into responding to stupid comments. Sorry guys, slip of the filter. Edited October 5, 2012 by The Crow
