Ok, so I'm building up a new bike. For this bike I need some things. From all the parts that have come on special in the last few days, I found 1 thing I need. Time is running out to get this bike built so that I can have training time on it before Trans, and I don't know whether/if the other needed parts might come on special.

So my suggestion to CWC is this - Bundle specials that we choose, as the end user / client.

Make up a wish list of whatever you want (and to make it fair to CWC, lets make it stuff totalling over R1000), and they reply to you with their best whiz-bang, blow-your-mind and not your wallet, offer for the stuff that you want. A bundle special.

Up to the challenge CWC? Very basic idea, but I'm sure there are people out there that need more than just a tyre or a flashy light every other day. There are however guys that need a this, a that, some of those, that that and that, all together and would appreciate a cracking price.

Right now I'm needing quite a few things, and am thinking of going CRC, but would rather deal with CWC out of convenience.

Why not just email a few bike shops with you requirement and ask them for their best price on the bundle? Guarantee more savings will come you way...

Bike shops can't beat CWC's prices.

Azonic, not a bad idea, but I agree with petatodd. It makes business sense to ask the bike shops for their best offer for all you want.

I don't really see other bike shops advertising on TheHub or going out of their way to draw our business... None of my LBS's have bothered, so I rate I'll support those who are keen on our business.

Why don't you just e-mail them and ask what their best price is for the stuff you want? Then contact other shops for comparative prices and pick the best.

If you don't want to deal with other shops then just pick between their response and CRC and order from the cheaper. I'm sure they won't have a problem giving you a quote?

Don't be naive, if the desire is there anyone can beat any price. I consistently beat web prices for bundles. I'll take up your challenge, PM your wish list.

A shop on William Moffatt just has.Chain and cluster. Cheaper and no postage. But yes they do not support the hub. Time they woke up.

I'm thinking they could do it more streamlined, something official. Just like how eBay has the "Best Offer" thing, reverse. Kinda

Doubt Rob would dig you saying they should wake up
