Hi

i am wanting to know what are the fundamental differences between the different shimano road cassettes.

I currently have a tiagra cassette and chain with 105 shifters etc. What would the benefits if any be in upgrading these to the 105 cassette and chain as well?

Tiagra 4600 Cassette +- 256g

105 5700 Cassette +- 251g

*Both 10 speeds, 12-25

5grams.

Placebo effect = Unmeasurable

Just buy it, it will make you faster!!!!!

And you will need to replace it more frequently because it will wear out faster - but it will make you faster because it costs 3 times more

Lol, not really concerned about the weight, more about the quality of materials, resistance to corrosion, durability etc.

Lol, yes the 5g of "material" difference will make a MASSIVE change in "quality of materials, resistance to corrosion, durability etc." :whistling:
