Thanks, what time and how cold is it that time of the morning?

 

Gates open at 7am. So aim to set off at about 710. The forecast for Sun is 1deg (lo) and 11 deg C. Could be a bit cold.

Agh Suikerbos is great training for the Jock but the Jock in some senses isn't as steep so seems easier.

 

My little opinion.

 

But if you aren't fit, both will hurt like hell ;)

That's the theory. Suffer now, spend later ;-)

Next Sunday sees us visiting the hallowed ground of SBR for some pre-Jock training. Meeting at the car park at 7am. Probably do one or two laps depending on the group. Any Hubbers keen on joining the fun?

mmm i see Ive dropped to Third on strava. 1:51 is going to be TOUGH to ever get close to.

7:15 is early, but not impossible. If we can now only get CycleWizz to commit to some real hills :devil:

Say what? In the link provided on Page 1 - the leader is James R in a time of 1:51....

on the Strava leader board sadley only 12th , i got some work to do but then again i have not been in a while .

under closer insection of the top riders routes James R did not do the full loop !

go look at his ride it starts at the grate and comes back down the one way , so yes then its possible to do 1h51 ( click on his time it will bring up his ride )
