Not sure what you are on about the flexy cause they make use of a rigid frame system

So what makes the Lazer Excalibur the helmet of choice for professionals like Brian Lopes? Great features, incredible comfort and top level safety and security.

Excalibur was designed in partnership with Lazer Motorcycle helmets and we took advantage of their 92 years of developing the safest head protection in motorsports.

16 vents in the fiberglass composite shell assure plenty of airflow into the helmet for maximum rider comfort. The visor is both adjustable and replaceable in the event of crash damage. A double D Ring buckle assures security when Excalibur is strapped on. The Lazer Rigidity Brace System (RBS) helps keep the foam together in the event of an impact to offer rider head protection for additional lower speed impacts. Wide view assures total peripheral vision. And the Excalibur comes in 5 sizes to assure a perfect fit.

All good, if you like what they punting & willing to risk your head on some marketing babble GL.

Read enough actual rider reviews from average people not sponsored or affiliated with the product to know its not on my shortlist

Thanks to BuyCycle I got this Fox Rampage delivered yesterday for the daughter:

The pics don't actually do it any justice at all. The black and white graphics are completely matt. Probably the best R900 I have spent in a while.

Is she going to be starting DH? We need more of the fairer sex on the local DH scene!

Yes. That is the plan. She is nearly 16 but is keen and has decent skill for a teenager. She did the Mankele Avalanche. We will have to see how it goes...

BTW, do you know if there will be a village DH bike in small size at events? Not keen to spend on another bike just yet.

Kabuto (OGK) IXA Carbon. 200g lighter than a TLD D3. Sadly it's the price of complete MTB (beginner MTB, but still)

@ Patches CRC has your Kabuto's instock

Haha, i know. Last week i was thinking long and hard about the black Nema (kabuto) in composite. They were even on special, starting at R2500. Unfortunately my noggin requires the M/L and in black that is sitting at over 3k. I could go for red and still get the better price, but i like the black too much.
