Although, I must say that you Mr Meyer are about the only SS rigid rider I've ever seen that smiles.

Haha Thanx dude. I gotta smile cause I'm not good enough to take this **** seriously and I do it for fun. If I wanted to be miserable on the weekends I'd do something crappy like play golf or become a roadie.

Must say though rode my bros new carbon 29er HT this weekend and the suspension ans gears where nice for a change.

We have those too.. - but the spruit hardly qualifies as needing travel and gears... or even knobblies for that matter.. :) pillow fights don't need guns!!

Riding a big bike is my excuse to go slowly up the hills! Don't take that away from me

Not to worry - I have a big bike too, and just serviceing it this year has cost me a lot more that the ss has including the build - to say nothing of what it cost to aquire...

Patches - post up that video - it will be interesting to see if there is a spot on the spruit that is new/unknown to me - and I am always up for having a try.

Ollo

How many of you ride train on the Braamfontien spruit? I know its not the ideal place for a single speed but its just convient for me. I uselly go there via Northcliff hill then trough all the parks.

When and were do you ride?

Uselly ride Saturday and Sunday mornings.

What ratio's do you or would you run?

I use 36t 19t would prefer 36t 18t but northcliff hill would not be possible.

Pet hate or or what do you like?

Traffic from the oppeside direction is a pain,

Passing the geared bikes (Dirt roadies) like they are standing still  love it.

Were else do you ride?

Please the spelling nazi's be kind.
