splat Posted July 11, 2012 Share What hub have you got? You can buy QR adaptors for Hope, ZTR, DT & several other brands, but not Shimano
JTK Posted July 11, 2012 Share actualy no idea. They are Giant PXC2 29'er rims. Think it would be "Giant Tracker". Assume they will be a rebrand of another hub?
JTK Posted July 11, 2012 Share What outer diameter is a normal axel? I would imagine if one could turn something fairly easy that fits over a standard axel with an OD of 15mm and the right length? With lips on either side to space and prevent movement? If I may ask. why does Shimano not cater for this? Edited July 11, 2012 by JTK
BogusOne Posted July 11, 2012 Share I use a set of those Giant wheels for training and converted my front hub to QR using the axle assembly from a old Campag Chorus front hub. Works like a charm. Fits straight in with absolutely no modification required. Will post a pic later of the axle in the Giant hub.
