Betamax was a far more superior product to VHS, but VHS became the standard in video tape in the 70's and 80's. The answer to why is that it was used by the Porn industry and was supplied to this industry for virtually no cost. Maybe GoPro is secretly supplying the porn industry as well

One of the electronics shops in OR Tambo Duty Free (International departures) has the Hero 2 Outdoor for R3000. Pretty good price for a "local shop".

 

Funny enough, as massive as Dubai airport duty free is... not a single GoPro to be found.

If anyone is looking for Gopro accessories visit http://www.xtremeindustries.co.za/ , these guys sell the same mounts/better accessories with a wider variety of colors and options to choose from than Gopro themselves at half the price!!!

they also supply Gopro cameras but more or less at the same price than most retail stores...
