Diuretic found in urine sample taken on July 14

Earlier today, the UCI advised Luxembourger Fränk Schleck (RadioShack-Nissan) of an Adverse Analytical Finding in a urine sample collected from him at an in-competition test at the Tour de France on July 14, 2012.

If only they had been this vigilant when the Texan peed.

So his miraculous recovery of form was not such a miracle? Or is the finding easily explained as a misunderstanding, lab fault or some such thing, and his new-found better in-tour form genuine?

UCI wants him removed from tour, although finding does not required automatic suspension

Maybe he used the diuretic to thin down before the mountains so he can get to the finish before the flamme rouge?

Thats intense.. Is it common among cyclists??? He is already so thin!!!!

I doubt he used is for that reason. Seems like it can mask/hide the presence of PEDs, hence it being on the 'bad' list
