Here is a few thought...

1. We join the protest ride in JHB on the 5th of Jan.. the more the better i guess

2. They are having a memorial ride later in the week give them time to organize it properly.

We can put together a memorial ride to go along side the JHB one on he same day.

Have a look at this

Cool! Something that came up on twitter is that we don't go through city centre and that is why Jozi is supposedly cooler... If we come down the other side of union buildings i recon we could make a little detour though sunnyside... or has the route changed since i was last there.

We are planning a safe route though the city, this month will be similar to last months ride. The biggest concern with the ride though the city was the kids going along. The routes in and out of the city is hectic and that time of night there. with t traffic is quite buy that said we are going to plan a proper city ride and see something like church square, do a few laps around oom Paul!

What sort of lights do you guys use during the rides (thought about this when reading the other thread of 1200 vs 2000 etc) ?

Usually I go with my two led lenzer L7's... It is my default 24hr setup as well...

Guys, I am really keen to get back into the CM rides, and am always willing to help out with marshaling....but its just a little nippy lately....went up sani pass lately with some friends and got stuck in -10 degree weather (+rain, +snow, +wind)...needless to say, we were miserable....my question is....

......what do you guys wear to stay warm...or are the camelbaks filled with OBS?

Not there like a polar bear....yet.....maybe when I find some electric blanket lined bibs
