Thanks for the opportunity to ensure your safety on this first CM ride for PTA. Keep us posted for the next one.

Anyone know who we can contact with regards to the young one who caused the accident with one of the Marshals?

If it was not for the Marshal, the little one would have gone straight down that hill into traffic. There is some damage on the bike and damage to the Marshal, we don't mind this type of thing, but both the parents did not even enquire about the well being of the Marshal or his bike laying on their sides in the road.

A simple 'are you alright' or 'we are sorry' would have been great.

You guys did some excellent work! Thank you!

Back @ the cyclists... How about we start a fund to help out this marshal with his damages? The pannier is quite heavily dented, not to mention any other damages... :whistling:

Ja, in the bit of chaos after the impact no one will know exactly what was said or not...

If this is the Ranger with the 1200GS saying that there was no apology then the chaos was maybe a bit overwhelming, but if you are another ranger who feels we didn't apologise then you are wrong. I clearly remember NOT asking to cover the damage but I must've apologized more than five times to the ranger.

Thank you to all who joined the ride! The turnout was amazing! Not in our wildest dreams did we thought that it would be this big for the fist time! Pics to follow soon!

A special mention to our marshals on the night!

We need to smooth over some details with our route but we are already planning the next one.

Again thank you all who joined!

It certainly was fun! See you at the next one!

Thanx to all who made this possible. I think the amount of riders who joined speaks for itself :)

Will definitely be there next time, with more lights!

Was fun and would definitely like to join again

You need to relook at the route though, a couple of those bits in Hatfield, Pretorius street etc were ill advised to say the least and would have been suicidal without the motorcycle marshalls.

Ok, that was odd, interwebs doing funny things

I agree with you there(route re look)! we have some work to do before the next one. it was a but stressful as we did not expect that many people to start with! hope we can keep the numbers up for the next one! How was the start and finish venue?

Again thank you to all who rode with us!
