I use the KMC 10speed links , as you can remove them and reuse them without any problems or special tools

Cool. So I can remove the PowerLock on my 10 speed SRAM chain and install this one? Is it as easy as that?

How do you remove them?

Not sure , KMC make 8,9,10 speed chain links for shimano and campy i dont know if they will work on scrap sorry sram chains .

you can remove the sram 10speed with a pair of pliers no problem or one the spec tools as mentioned .

Regardless of the brand, the dimensions of the chain will be the same (if all the same speed). So they will work

basically the ten speed chains are directional and narrower than the 8,9 speed chains so you need to have the right size link but undoing the power link and re connecting makes chain cleaning a lot easier.

once you have fitted the link just stand lightly on the peddle to make sure it locks into the grooves properly.

happy riding
