With the help of a keen mountain biker we have devised this trail to suite even the thrill-seeker !!! The 34km is for the intermediate rider and is ideally situated as a last minute training session for the OFM MTB Race. The 50km is for the more adventurous and the ideal training you will need for the 94.7 MTB Challenge !!! The route will offer you dirt road, lots of technical single-track, rocky descents, spectacular river-side track and an old railway iron bridge crossing. Which race are we talking about exactly ? Well I’ll tell you…. The Totalindex Outback MTB Challenge will take place on Saturday, 27 October 2012, in Villiers (which is just an hour’s drive from JHB). The race will once again start and finish at Villiers High School BUT will not follow the same route as in 2011. Supervan Posted October 15, 2012 Share Looking forward to the Delta Dash. Who else is in? Yes, yes, yes I know I said I don't do races but the glory of a six hour endurance race looks good to me. Good prep for the 24 hour in December. Unfortunately the Delta Dash 2012 has been postponed due to the City Parks booking the Jacaranda Pops on the same day. The JMPD will not allow 2 events of this size in the park on the same day. The event will be held on Saturday 13 April 2013. Please advise if it is possible to reschedule the event for this new date? That too I tore the muscles and tendons in my thigh from that, as well as have blood clots, so I'm taking it easy for now.
