I reckon I've spent maybe R5500 - R6000. Depressing actually haha

I have built bikes off the stuff I bought.

A frame

2x brake sets

2x rotors

Wheels

Rims

Hubs

Saddles

Stems

Bars

Forks

Chains, cassettes, pedals, derailleurs, grips, bar ends, tires and the list goes on.

Fact is the last bike I built up was mostly off the hub. A few things I got from the lbs: the frame, alloy nipples, rims and cables. The spokes came from CRC. My Santa Cruz Highball with XT crank, brakes and X9 shifts, Reba fork and Crest wheels cost me less than R30k. 50% of the stuff came off new bikes. The rest was still in original packages.
