Took the bikes back, was VERY nice to them. They rebled the brakes... And yaaaayyy... My brakes are back and working as before!!!

Being very nice always works - clever move

I'm assuming there was no charge though?

So during the service some anus pulled the levers with the wheels out and the pistons sucked in a bit of air?

So why did they bleed them in the first place? only have to do that if there is a problem, or lines have been moved or bolts undone.

There is another way air can get into the oil: air from the top of the reservoir if/when the bike is turned up side down. That air is only there if the correct procedure isn't followed. The Hope website has some vids how to make sure air is flushed out before you put the lid on.
