Company discovers problem in production that has caused 6 frame failures around the world, they investigate, realise it could be a bigger problem and they recall the product... seems the responsible thing to do. I know of more than few companies who let the consumer pay for their F-up's.There a particular brand of bike that loves to crack at the seat tube seat post collarand then therea nother that cracks at the shock mount on the frame.not to mention that other brand that has cracking chainstays.. But hey just give you another bike, crack that one too and you think argh cool, a new bike every year, till one breaks and youmeet that nurse but you're too f-ed to get her phone number .
