American classic 15mm adapter issue

Hello tech hubbers,

I've recently bought an AM Classic wheelset with the 15mm thru axle converter, but when the converter is installed I have the following problems:

1. The converter only has 1 hex nut to tighten

2. When the converter hex nut is installed (on the wheel) & hand tightened & the round "lock nut" is installed & turned all the way in there's a gap between the hex nut & the 'lock nut'.

See pic for detail (this is the same scenario / distance as when installed, but obviously easier to see when not installed)

Thanx in advance

Dont worry, mines the same. Thats how they are.

just nip the hex nut so its snug... not tight!!! and put the round threaded cap on.

but if there's space between the hex nut & round end cap then the hex nut will looen over time, won't it?

Should I try to find a washer to take up the space btween the hex & end cap/nut?
