absolutely disgusting human behavior! fueled by greed! this needs to be stopped at source with massive political pressure as ground level tactics are not proving effective. so sad.

It is very sad and money is taking over the world nature....

They must catch poachers and cut their leg off and let them die slowly as warning.... No time for court or bail.....

Rather cut their d@cks off

lost for words... just feel sick in my stomach seeing the pictures of those rhinos... really have sick senseless people living in this country! Disgusting... some heartless people living in this country!

Ye that picture is the hard truth, thats a family slaughtered right there.

Such majestic beasts ,now lying with their legs in the air like a dead rat.

Reminds me of images we see of villages being slaughtered by mulisha

hacked up & left to rot. :cursing:  :(

The humans that do that must be absolutely senseless.

They do report that ex-soldiers from some of Africa's many wars are the manpower behind many of these slaughters . I suppose if you can slaughter humans , rhinos won't be very hard.

It will be a million times easier for me to kill, no not kill, torture these idiots than to kill a Rhino!! You feel so helpless.

I think people high up are involved in this..That's why its never been stopped & politicians care more about $ then animals..... :cursing:

It's the same with perlemoen.

Government don't care about it and see it as petty crime.

These aren't just petty criminals that want food. This is a syndicate and many will be connected to the perlemoen poaching.

Myself and a few guys i used to work with offered to work for free to track poachers and it was turned down.

America has also offered to send US Army to help, that way there people can get experience working in African bush and they still waiting for reply.

If anyone finds these bastards who dunnit, a friend said I should try out his Martini Henry .577 sometime. I think this is a good reason.

That will take one shot, I will use my airgun.

ye its disgusting & the fact you even offered your services for free & it was turned down, indicates something fishy.I mean which government department doesnt take free service in africa.

Ye sure the yanks would be keen as they love our country for the wildlife.....what will be left anyways ..

Next thing theyll shoot the 1 @ joburg zoo, seems to be that easy

They did it at a German Zoo.

All Rhino horn displays in France,Belgium and Germany have been taken down or replaced with replica horns.

Posted

Seems like the only solution is to remove the horn if you want the animal to live. Then flood the market with the horns and get the price to drop. The lure of $ is just to great, for those who do it and those who pass it on. Catch one poacher and they will be replaced the next day.
