Garmin Edge 800

Hi hubbers

Does the Edge 800 have an auto stop function or do you have to stop it via stop /start button,

it ask you if you want timer to start when movement is detected but does not stop if you stop.

The 500 does so I'm sure the 800 will have the same functionality.

It's the auto pause feature. Menu->Bike Settings->Auto Pause->Auto Pause mode. Here you change between stopping when you're completely stopped, or when your speed drops below a specified threshold.

Does have auto stop (or auto pause) as Top said .. you can also download the manual from Garmin which is a big help because the documentation they give you is virtually useless.

And that auto stop works a charm. Loving it. Would have been the best computer if it had a overall avg and a moving avg!

Yes it does and i hav the whole pdf file is you want to save time. Manual the unit comes with is useless.
