The wife and I tried to do the whole tandem thing, but it would propably end up in a divorce. Its got an 8Speed Sora groupset. It needs a good service and a new rear tyre. What would be a realistic price for this Tandem ?

DJR Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 I would think more in the region of R5000 if everything on the bike is in great condition and freshly serviced (ready to ride and not worry about anything). It is is a good time to sell in the 3 months before the Argus. That is when fathers and sons / husbands and wives look for tandems.

They did bring in a few experimental Taiwanese Kinesis frames after they discontinued the steel frames they made in Babelegi. What wheels and rims are on the Tandem?

Will check wheels when I get home
