Hairy Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 anyone know how the On-one boys did this frame ... it is raw steel with a clear coat over and is a good few years old now and looking very good The the Morewood boys were also doing semi translucent coats to their ally frames ... if I am not mistaken those are powder coated .... but oh so sexy!

V12man Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 The problem is I will only find out how good he is when it is too late!!! True - but multiple coats will help somewhat - also you could consider clear powdercoating - but that is also not a guarantee.. Pinholes will be visible under bright lights, and you can fill them with paint using a toothpick once it is dry - not a perfect solution, but better than nothing. Pinholes also sometimes are caused by a less than clean surface - again a painter quality issue, as is solvent pop... which also means the finish is not perfectly clear - like tiny bubbles.
