I have ridden once before the DC but will probably join soon. Getting the news mails from EK.

Are you joining FanD?

(Darn, just remembered! I need to collect and pay you for something. Sorry  - will "pm" later)

ja - been riding this week. they're a bit slow for me, but its better than riding alone. and i go do my intervals 2x while they're on the hills so its not too bad. if i get too bored i sit on front for 30mins and make them bleed Tongue

Just be nice to them when you are doing it - one day one of them may become stronger than you and return the favour to you! Wink

I used to ride with them when I was starting out and needed some proper training...

Now I do my own thing.

My wife still rides with them though when she has time.

They have formed a club, and have a team entered in the Elite league...

FanD the only problem riding with a group on weekdays is the specific program issue. I would find it difficult to do specific interval training in a group. (probably find that I would only be moving a bit faster than their slowest on the intervals though, but I'm sticking to my illusion LOL )  racman2008-01-23 03:29:46

Usually mornings' date=' but recently a bit of both. I often can't get out of bed DeadOuch

but what about Maverick CC and Helderberg CC being in the same area???

Maverick is more geared towards mountain biking.

The Wannabees joined with the old Hottentot Hollands Cycling Club (H2C2) to form Cycling Club Helderberg.
