to tjop J072 who joined our bunch and then blew both nostrils into the fine unpolluted west coast wind go back into your hole.

Hiya

I remember a while ago, there was a thread about post nasal drip, look it up. Some people cant help it for they suffer from post nasal drip. Maybe you should, just slow down, think. Because I can tell you, that is *nothing*, compared the guys and gals I saw drop their gu sachets and the two tjops throwing their banana peels in the vegetation. Sure its disgusting ... but as I said, some people cant help it.

So you would prefer to have a face full of snot that a biodegradable banana peel in the bushes? Sachets are evil and always drink my gels out of a tube to keep in my pockets, but blowing snot in people's faces is completely unacceptable! If you know you have a problem then drop to the back or go off the side of the bunch to do your thing, pretty simple really.

I do understand your point too, but from the one doing all the work it does get rather frustrating (and tiring) when you are pulling a little group on your own. It is a tricky one, because we all love the sport and all want our best time possible. I also think that is more evident in a small group than a large one when people don't/can't help.

I fully understand the fact if you're hanging on but the best method in the wind is a constant rotation, 20 - 30 secs on the front, pull off and slot in. Honestly that doesn't kill.

My itch was that there was only a couple of guys who took up the pace when the wind was in the face and everyone kept bunching up as they actively tried not to put in a turn so it got quite dangerous with people swerving and braking. Then as soon as we made a turn and the wind was behind it was like a spinning class!

Just a little niggle in a really great day.

Pictures are up. If you dont see yourself, tell me what kit you had on.

Great pics... good work. For once I made a shot and don't look a complete tool in it!!

Oh, don't suppose anyone picked up a catseye about 15kms out did they? Mine decided to take a dive of my bike around there.

Who has done this one? I am looking at doing this for the first time. Would appreciate any feedback from hubbers and what to expect from route. Finish is on Mamba Hill. Is it quite tough at the finish and how far is it from the start? Here is the link to PPA page and event. Anybody have a profile and aerial route map? Thanks in advance.
