Best route from Bromhof to Linden

Thinking of starting a commute to work from Friday.

 

Anybody have a good route to take. Total distance is about 11km.

 

Down Rabie to Malibongwe and then follow Malibongwe into Linden?

 

That is the normal route I drive but Rabie is quite busy. There is a bike lane which helps.

That is te route I used to use. It depends on what time you are riding. You could try cutting up to silver pine if the traffic is bad, but I doubt it'll be much better. Alternately, you could also try Maria St.

Do you still commute to Linden and back?

 

I see a commuter daily on the route with a yellow visibility vest.

Nah, I used to commute when I worked in Braamfontein. Am now working in mid town and just not willing to risk it as a lady riding alone :-( instead I use 650cc of engine power to get to work and back (at least it's 2 wheels)
