Merida tfs 500 or GT Zaskar with Cross rides upgrades

Hi Guys,

 

I you had a choose between these two what would you take between a new stock standard Merida TFS 500 or a GT Zaskar with Mavic Cross Rides and Sram x5 and x7 and better shock I thing Rox Shox recon about six months old?? OR Something new in the R7500 bracket??

which zaskar is it?

 

to be honest, i prefer RS over Suntour as a 1st preference between the 2 bikes.

GT definitely. And it has better wheels.

 

But also you have to decide whether you want Shimano or SRAM components.

The Merida had RS Dart 2...GT has Juicy Brakes??

 

dart? see, cycle lab stocks this model as well with Suntour fork..

 

what specs do you have on the merida? lets see...

Also a huge GT fan - I mean damn they been around since 1979.

From BMX to AM to XC ro road - the tripple triangle design is awesome
