T-man Posted November 9, 2012 Share Hi all. In the beginning of the year I got a race calendar in one of the magazines. Think it was the Ride. Not sure. Listed was the Rock Pedal Classic Mtb race in George on 17 December 2012. I went on to the facebook page and it said 22 December 2012. Visit the Web page and it says 5 January 2013. Maybe I am being DOF, does anyone know anything about this race on the 22nd of December 2012. I desperatly want to do this one. Any contact details?? Skubarra Posted November 9, 2012 Share Their organising is a bit "deurmekaar". Seems they haven't yet made up their mind on which date to hold it, they will probably decide early December . Not a whole lot of people did this race last year so no need to hurry to enter early. deviate Posted November 16, 2012 Share im going to ride the route tommorow to see if i can do the 100km, the first half is nice with my 3-4 times a week single track (its quite literally my backyard) and once you hit the top of montague pass it seems to be pretty straight and down. ill see if i can get a hold of them too. Firemeister Posted November 16, 2012 Share Don't be fooled. The 100 km is very tough, and montague is the easy part of the climb.. There is still duiwelsnek, bergplaas and the seven passes which makes this a killer. Nothing similiar to the easier old 2 day route Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
