I got the Edge 500, I just bought my wife one also, what should I keep in mind when setting them up, don't want the wives speed/cadence sensor talking to mine and vice versa.

awesme, once linked to a heart rate belt and cadence sensor the gamin GPS will only pick up those devices.

 

To link you need to go into bike settings for the cadence and user settings for the heart belt. You can also set up 3 bikes on the 500 for cadence so each time you ride a different bike you don't need to re-link, just choose the right bike from the bike settings menu.

thanks, will dig around to find out exactly how to do the link. was thinking there should be a pairing method that ensures we don't get them cross talking when they close.
