Fax? Should we just fax them a stiffy to make it 100% retro!? biggrin.png

Not if you ride Giant .

Try and order a Reign or a Reign X... Or a 29er Trance "anything other than the X1".

You cant order Spez products online and get it sent to SA. Some family of mine stay there and they just buy it and DHL it for me. Done it with most of my Spez products..

Even cheaper if you know someone making the trip back and they can just include it in their luggage.

Have to do the same with Mavic at least for the 2013 goodies on CRC.

But why do we need to get it from overseas if we have a specialized depot right here? Why dont Spez SA want to be contactable? No phone number etc.

You can buy some Specialized products from Evans Cycles in the UK and they ship to SA?

I was wrong. They can't sell Specialized outside the EU. That kinda sucks.

You refering to these?

I see you a fellow Kaapie.

If you can wait until March next year I will be returning on holiday.

The S-works go for £200, which works out to be R2500-R2800, think they going for R3500+ in SA.

Let me know as we have the Specialized Concept stores here in London.

I had an issue with the new S-Works prevail helmet which I bought earlier this year. The furthest tip of the peak started to delaminate from the little foam uprights. I decided to take it back after using for more or less one month. The manager took a look at it and not even 1minute later he confirmed they will replace it with another from the store room. I walked out a verry happy customer and for that I will continue to purchase Specialized products.

I couldnt believe the service compared to the retailers back home.

I had another issue with the S-Work shoes which I purchased several years ago in Cape Town and to cut a long story short, the agent for specialized in the Cape (specialized recently revoked their contract/rights) refused to exchange my faulty shoes. It was a fight between my LBS, agent and I. It was very frustrating.

It seems that it is cheaper to get from international suppliers than source locally (acc to previous posts here)
