How can one Calculate the Finnishing time according to the Start time?

The Start is calculated according to the Teams seeding.

Calculating from the Start time giving you an estimated Riding time.

Example.

05hoo # 10hoo =)13hoo?

07hoo # 05hoo =(12hoo?

Are there any Mathematicians out there?

didn't plus, minus, divide and multiply work?

Here's our teams calculations

202km divide by 8hours equals 25.25km/hr avg

We start at 06:10 plus 8hours equals 14:10 finish time.

Minus about 10liters of sweat en pain and multiply by the 12 riders....

Z = training + time management + planning

But there is a unknown factor which is infact known to all participants and that's uncontrolled conditions to elaborate, wind rain crashes strikers punctures technicals etc.

Also intra-team riots. Keep those handbags holstered!

My team has hired ex army security. They will ride along side us and polity inform the group that we are passing to move over and ride in single file.

More to what?

If Start at 05hoo means your ride will be a 10h odd hours. But a 06hoo will give you a 8h ride. Where a 07hoo will mean you should ride for 06hours?

intra-team - ie. within your own team. Although admittedly inter-team barnies are also commonplace. Maybe the compulsory tea-stop will serve to minimise on-road meltdowns.

Aside : is anyone rolling with a team picnic blanket this year? Aerial TV footage of logo-sporting blankets could be the clincher that secures extra sponsor-dosh for next year's event.
