I found current prices being in line with what the bikes cost over the past 2 years. I think we can expect a increase in January 2013. If you are keen on bying a 2013 model you should probably buy one from a dealer who allready has stock.

I work for a company who imports products from Europe. Stock on current order arriving Jan 2013 is quit a bit more expensive than the current stock. Even though product pricing might not have increased in Europe (they have a rediculously low interest rate), the currency is weaker and shipping cost seem to have increased. All factors raping the end buyer exponentially

With the Rand having fallen almost 15% against all major currencies over the last 3 months, my guess is you can expect about a 15% increase in bike prices SOON.

You know long term bikes stay about the same.

My first Campagnolo crankset & BB (road) cost me R 26.50 new in 1968 - then it was about 27% of my monthly salary.

To-day I can get a new Campagnolo crankset and BB with a far higher spec than the original for 3% of my monthly salary.

that's the problem, only the cost price will go up by that level. the adjusted price should only go up by about 7%, but I'm sure they will take a chance to hike up the profit too
