What a stunning ride this morning. Pace was nice and steady, no real heroics up the Polkadraai climbs, mist on the R304 section was surreal. Ended up with a nice avg without any lung or leg busting going on. THANKS GUYS.

One suggestion though. The guys in the group must point out obstacles / dangers in the road. Went over some pieces of a car tire "carcass", managed to avoid another, went through big patches of glass, etc, and no warning signs was given by the group.

First time i joined this ride today and i don't think i will be doing it again.

For the life of me i cannot understand how guys can't ride within the yellow line going down Bottelary road. Some guys riding three abreast and riders riding on the outside of the yellow line, maybe up to a meter in the road. With cars flying past, what are some okes thinking? Or rather, not thinking, clearly.

In my opinion they should split the group into two. A faster group and slower group. There were clearly guys in the bunch who were struggeling to keep up going up Polkadraai, even with the moderate pace going up there.

Not good.

I know it's not a cwc ride but it seems as though it is. They should possibly lay down some rules or don't take pictures showing people generally being disobedient.

How do i tell which is the group of guys that do the extra distance after the ride. Going to join tomorrow.

You rolled with me on the weekend too. *wink*.

I do a Contermans-Vissershok loop after this group ride.

You're welcome to come along.

I turn off RIGHT into the main road before Tygervalley at the end of the ride to head to Racecourse Rd.
