Avid Elixir 9 rs Carbon Brakes

Purchased a pair. I've read some negative and positive reviews. Feels great. How would you rate this brake system.

Shouldn't you have read some positive and negative reviews PRIOR to purchasing a pair?

I bought X9 shifters, X0 derailers, X0 carbon crank, cassette,chain and the avid brakes for a very good price. Came of an, almost new, Scott 29er after they upgraded to XX groupset.

I have 2 sets of these - good, but you do need to read the manual on how to set them up with all the adjustments they have - download a manual if you don't have one.

 

And if you need mount bolts let me know - I have a few spare sets.
