I want to upgrade my current wheelset. Any coments on Shimano XT 29er wheelset? I'm struggling to get info on weight, reviews, how they compare to other factory fitted wheelsets, etc.

Any advice and inputs would be appreciated.

HI.THERE, i AM BUSY SELLING MY XTC CARBON HARDTAIL WITH ZTR CREST WHEELS. mAYBE WE CAN MAKE A DEAL, YOU BUY THE WHEELS, AND i PUT YOUR OLD WHEELS ON MY BIKE TO SELL WITH ?

Running a set.

Stiff, light and tubeless out the box.

Only thing with them is the cup and cone bearing configuration in the hubs. Bit of a pain due to more frequent servicing requirements.

Otherwise awesome wheels.

Thanks. Don't want to sell my old set. Want to keep them as spares. You interested in selling them seperately?

Thanx. How regularly do you train on rough, bumpy, rocky terain? And if you wouldn't mind, what's your weight? I weigh 70 kg's but regularly play around in tough terrain.

I have a set of the MT75s on my SS with rigid fork - so far about 2,000km in harsh rough terrain and not a single issue - I weigh 80kg.

Claimed weight is 1,850g

Agreed on the cup'n'cone assembly being a pain in the ass but bang for buck these wheels are hard to beat.

The continuous rim is a bonus - I hate mucking about with rim tape.

They are on my rigid SS and I don't show them any mercy. I weigh in at 95kg odd and I ride the bike pretty hard over rough terrain with a couple of jumps thrown in.

They havnt flinched once.
