Cyclists' Safety in the light of Burry and other's recent deaths - Merged Thread.

I can give 3x as many examples involving cars so it is not just cyclist. It is all road users

What does it take to make you and like-minded people realise that y'all "joining the taxis" will only add fuel to the fire??!! Why do you not understand?

Because of attitudes similar to what you are displaying, there is a heated debate out there raging over who is right or wrong, when both very clearly are! If you could only accept that change starts by cleaning your own house, then we can move on and start looking for solutions, because it cannot and will not happen while we are preoccupied with laying blame... we should have been passed that by now!

I told you this would happen months ago, it is now very clear that all cyclists are being painted with the same brush because of some.. our argument is being totally discredited.

C'mon, think a bit further.

Geez niner, how old are you? How about we attempt to make the first step? This silly an eye for an eye thinking will just leave everyone blind.

Old enough to know you are fighting a loosing battle. Nothing will improve ever...as long as the real cause is not addressed.... That is the real world.

I am done with this. You lot keep on fighting amongst each other, with each other and see what you achieve.

Motorist will not change and cyclist will not change and the biggest bicycle/road user ( the commuter without a helmet) will not change....

But good luck. I am a realist.

I did not ask you to respond. You are a name caller and hence I don't care what you think.

Try your best buddy you will achieve nothing.

Got to go irritate some motorist.

Please explain? I am only asking if it should not be reinvestigated? After all most non recreational riders already do it

Please explain why it should not work without name calling but just a discussion

Most already do it? Really? And what percentage of the total amount cyclists on the road are made up by non-recreational users? Putting thousands of cyclists against traffic is just stupid.

Name-calling? Bit sensitive? I said your post was moronic. If you want to take that personally, well… whistling.gif
