Apparently a lady saw a bashed up car in a complex at the same time and asked the police to come look. They dismissed it in the fact that it was not a bakkie...she pleaded and insisted till they eventually came round..and it was at this point that the chap turned himself him....news 24 article...so can't say how reliable it is

Bad as it may sound w.r.t. the police investigation, I would still like this individual to be made aware of what the cycling community thinks of his actions. So regardless of the final outcome, let's stage something huge when a court date is set !
