Using strava, but my samsung's battery does not last for a 4 hr plus ride.

just upload directly from your garmin to strava. skip the garmin connect site. so you wont need your cellphone to record the ride.

I had the same problem , new version 3 seems to be a problem , MONS is correct go Garmin Connect , Create a user account if You dont have one , Click on Your name , a drop down menu will appear click "settings" , that will take You to another page , On the left will be another Menu , Cick on "Display Preferences" On that screen You change Language , Measurement Units etc .

Forgot one step , after You changed it , Go to " Personal Information ", On that screen You change all Your other Personal information , Click Save , On the bottom left off the screen theres a Tab " Send to Device" Click on that and Your problem is solved

Do what we do, create strava sections in our complex for a select few...by invitation only. It grates the stravassholes nutz
