dump the 17 & 15 sprockets

replace with the One Up 16T sprocket

Shift ramp on that 16t does not seem to be lined up. Usually these aftermarket 16t cogs have 2 positions they can line up on - due to different alignment of the key spline and shift ramps on 2 main brands of cassette...

The Charge tyre up front is fantastic - one of the best out there.

The Roam on the rear took some getting used to. Rolls like a dream, and if you lean it hard on the corners and get the edges working, it does a good job there too.

Doesn,t offer much breaking resistance on the steep stuff.

Personally I like it.

Nice bike BTW.

Yip it is a Roam on the rear and Charge upfront, rode it yesterday, not bad but I think the tire pressure were to high. I like the feel of the Charge.

Great looking bike! Where did you find that Durolux fork?

Great looking bike! Where did you find that Durolux fork?

It had been chilling in the classifieds for about 2 months before i picked it up.

despite what everyone thinks about suntour, they really didnt ruin this fork, its smooth, very adjustable, very stiff and very controlled, however if you run it at full travel it has a harsh top out, and it will take a special kind of hit to get it to bottom out, although that might just be because Im running it slightly hard.

Suntour is making really big strides in the development of their higher end trail/enduro forks. If you have a look on their website, they actually have a wide range of good looking forks.

Finding a specific fork as an aftermarket part is where the problems come in.

i tried to get a new set of uppers for it and suntour simply doesnt sell them, like, not at all.

if you are looking at getting a new fork, suntour isint a terrible place to look anymore, and (i wouldnt know, mine is still working too well) they are easy to service, and there are how toos on their website

Not complete just yet, but nearly there.

I had origionally ordered the shock yellow & black but when I turned up to the Commencal offices in Erts Andorra, they had decided that the black frame was better. I'm actually quite happy that the decision on the frame colour was lost in translation and that I ended up with the black frame.

Still need to sort a couple issues and then get everything dialed in. Carn't hardly wait to swing a leg over her.

So much of hotness! Congrats!

I've got my own little Commencal surprise waiting. Once I've got her, I'll post here.

Edit: Who needs "plus" tyres - just look at that front tyre, it's huge!

Edit edit: Super-mil, judging by the graphics, is that a 2015 frame?

Ja it is a 2015 frame. The guys at Commencal gave me a good deal on it so I can't complain.

The tyre is a Spez Butcher 2.4 on WTB frequency i-25. I'm not 100% sold on the Spez tyre as the casing feels way too soft, may switch to something a bit more durable at a later stage.
