Nothing like free beer that you didn't have to fetch yourself after a rough day on the trails!

Thanks dude! I hope to see another Giba enduro sometime soon. I will make the trip down again for sure!

Expensive day out for me!

Front rim - K.O.

Bell helmet - K.O.

Wireless Cateye - MIA after the first rim spill.

GOOD TIMES :)

Very cool event, we need more of them. Missed the timing post after run 1 and lost about 2 minutes and then nearly binned it at the top of run 4 going over the rock / drop off but otherwise all good !

The Pinn'r will be way happy when I put these on

Well worth that price!

Bring on the next one!!!

Nice tyres Red! Got me a fox 360 shirt lucky draw :)

Hey Shot Man!

The tyre's weigh so much less than the kenda 2.5's that are on the bike now, they feel like they weigh 400KG's so hopefully I'll be able to pedal the bike up the hills.

Gauteng "organisers" can learn a lot from the KZN dudes, they know how to offer proper mtb'ing and look after the riders - like Dave said during the prize giving "it's not about making money, it's about giving back to the riders" - something like that. I dig enduro so much more now and gained much more respect for the top guys and the pro's!

There is a lot of training lying ahead for me - but that's cool. Learned a lot from this event, and where my skill level actually lies, man, did I get a wake up call, LOL.

The vibes are so much cooler than these XC events up here in GP. Once again, big up to all for this event. Totally stoked!!

Totally with you! Enduro riding and vibes beat the xc we are used to hands down! Should we not take it upon ourselves, find a spot or two and get together with the right people to get some events together to follow in the foot steps of the enduro at Giba this weekend?

Now that some time has passed since the event I am starting to feel all my muscles took a beating, more than in the last 50km xc race I did!

Provided I did eat it twice and "ran" atleast half of stage 4 with my bike on my shoulder...
