Skott5 Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Very cool event, we need more of them. Missed the timing post after run 1 and lost about 2 minutes and then nearly binned it at the top of run 4 going over the rock / drop off but otherwise all good !

Beer4Recovery Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 (edited) Gauteng "organisers" can learn a lot from the KZN dudes, they know how to offer proper mtb'ing and look after the riders - like Dave said during the prize giving "it's not about making money, it's about giving back to the riders" - something like that. I dig enduro so much more now and gained much more respect for the top guys and the pro's! There is a lot of training lying ahead for me - but that's cool. Learned a lot from this event, and where my skill level actually lies, man, did I get a wake up call, LOL. The vibes are so much cooler than these XC events up here in GP. Should we not take it upon ourselves, find a spot or two and get together with the right people to get some events together to follow in the foot steps of the enduro at Giba this weekend?
