Noooooo. Don't say bucket list. A bucket list is a list of things you know you'll never do. This must go on a project plan with a timeline and a budget.

Wait a second....... Is this the same Cassie who sarcastically chirped that he "earns his turns" when I posted about our 2012 trip? hehe.

Seriously tho. Don't think that cos you're riding a lift that there is no work involved. It's a different type of earning tho.

I assume we will do our own thing. I dont think our dates will be exactly the same (also I would like to go for 3 weeks), so it will be better to do it seperate.

Sweet. Must try to time it. BTW. If you decide on a DH bike a mate of mine has a Iron Horse Sunday. 16 inch. In pretty much perfect condition. He bought it and it was too small so it's kinda doing nothing. It will need a fork and some other little bits tho.

@ everyone who is keen to make the trip.

I've been pricing flights and for some reason that is unknown to me the prices seem to get ABSOLUTELY RETARDED from late June for about a month. Things seem to return to normal in August.

There must be a reason like European Summer holidays.

I'm thinking of changing our dates to 2nd August - 16th August. Going in July makes it just too expensive in my opinion. Remember we are limited in terms of airline because of our unique baggage requirements.

Your input is welcome but let's not turn this into a "Kulula screwed me cos I had to pay to get my bike to the Argus" thread please.

My input... well I have only done the trip once (8 -23 August 2012) and it seemd like great timing.

One of the locals said that the lift queues are shorter in August, the weather is better (although I think it's a gamble either way), but the tracks have had a bot of a beating.

In my 2 weeks there I only had 1 rainy morning, but was still able to ride once the lifts opened. The longest lift queue I had was at the bottom of chatel and the wair was 20min, if that. So some extra braking bumps are a minor factor.

Plus, our trip will probably be around that time so we can have a big Saffer party!
