Table Mountain safety?

Hi guys

 

I'm a newb to table mountain and was hoping someone would have an update on the safety of our beautiful mountain. Over the last few months a recall there being a spate of thefts however since its been quite. Have the group targetting cyclists around the block house been apprehended and the syndicate broken?

 

Is there a website I can check to get status of mountain safety?

 

Will appreciate input.

Heard it from a colleague. A friend of his was riding in the Devils peak/Rhodes memorial area. He was attacked by a guy who took his bike. That's all I know. I'll get some details from my colleague when I see him on Monday

Please post more info, or pm Kandui the detail. He'll let the right people know. They are doing a lot to make this area safer. All info will help, but yours might just be the missing piece of the puzzle needed to catch the bastards!
