chainring or pedal?

Neither!

Hit the beeeg jump at the 139 DH track. Didn't go well so was in 2 minds about ejecting or not.

Result... shin got caught between the rear tyre, seat stay, and seat post. Not ideal at any time. Particularly when landing a jump. I did however manage to ride it out and remain on the bike until it had come to a complete stop, before I disembarked that air craft.

So the injury seen is in fact not a cut, but my skin being ripped part by the friction of a spinning tyre.

you shut your pie hole!

I remember pushing your bike back up Serpentine and walking you to the ambulance. then hiking about 30km the next day to fetch your bike from where I safely stored it.

When injure myself, you guys tell me to drive myself to the pharmacy and leave me to 'stitch' myself up on the roadside while you carr on riding. And I was even kind enough to bring drinks back with me.

 hahahaha!

How much did you wish your guard was sitting a few cm's lower?

I'm pretty sure we didn't just leave you by the car. I'm pretty sure we laughed as you phoned your wife to tell her you broke ANOTHER arm. We also took photos as you flipped us off.

As for the sweets... I drive a van, it's my job to distribute sweets!

Ok, back on topic...

Some XCer body surfing

Yeah, I almost always have both my knee AND my knee-shin guards with me. I almost always choose to just go for the knee only pair. That day I regretted, hahaha!

I imagine it would be terribly socially unacceptable to "like" any of these pics ... I have come close to doing this, but just can't bear to "like" someone elses pain and suffering .... mind you I might go back and "like" Patches's pic

4X is essentially modern mans "fight to the death in the arena" as per the Romans ;)

We didn't just leave you lying there... I managed to snap this picture of you before we left you and went back to jumping.
