Cyclist also down in Krugerdorp today. Hit and run, not sure? I did not hear if the cyclist lived or not? Getting worse. Terrible.

Use more lights gents?

Sigh, people asking in the comments of the article what the cyclist was doing on the highway. It's not a highway near Vryburg. It is only highway north of Muldersdrift. N = National road, not highway.

I feel for the family of the deceased, but do we then release the cyclist of all responsibility because the driver was driving without a license. The logic befuddles me.

Funny enough, almost 2 years ago now, up here in the Midlands, a fellow cyclist was involved in accident with a taxi. The cyclist was overtaking a bunch, touched a wheel ahead of him and went careening into the oncoming traffic. Mob mentality takes over and everyone wants to take out the taxi driver.

Poor behaviour on the part of the cyclists.

Anyway, said cyclist set the record straight.

RIP cyclist

The cyclist turned in front of the taxi, the driver being without a liscence would not have saved him.

The taxis would not have been on the road
