Now there's your problem!

WHY?

Just because it didn't come from a shop does not mean it does not work. I do many conversions like this at home and have never had a problem. Even thru axle to 9mm conversions and vice versa on wheels....

Im currently running a SRAM X9 crank with a Shimano BB. So again I ask WHY?

That's what I have in there now, just a home made one.

I think this is an option...

Absolutely

If you feel like fiddling a bit you can even play around with a normal pressfit BB... OD on them is 41mm and OD on BB30 is 42mm so you will need to take up the 1mm "gap" which is easily achieved using some copper shim stock ;) But yeah that will probably not work :whistling:

don't know why this is a moral dilemma. A moral dilemma is - your wife's friend is really hot and has just broken up with her boyfriend/husband. You come home and - well you know the rest.

just saying...
